I just realize that that line, uttered by Jack (John Travolta) in Blow Out (1981), is essentially the mission statement of this here podcast. What I heard and saw this week, among other things, was this terrific movie that is either the perfect (downer) vibe for the moment or too much of a (downer) vibe for the moment. Or both.
